PNY SSD SSD7CS1311-240-RB 240GB CS1311 2.5inch
Designed for hard drive replacement, photo and video storage, and use as a boot drive, the 240GB CS1311 SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD from PNY is a 2.5" internal solid-state drive that has a capacity of 240GB and natively fits into the 7mm drive bay of your compatible system. Using the included 2.5mm spacer, this SSD may also be used in systems that have a 2.5" / 9.5mm drive bay.
Featuring compatibility with SATA III 6 Gb/s and SATA II 3 Gb/s interfaces, the CS1311 can achieve sequential write speeds of up to 510 MB/s, sequential read speeds of up to 520 MB/s, random write speeds of up to 90,000 IOPS, random read speeds of up to 87,000 IOPS, and is built using TLC NAND flash memory. This SSD may also be used to store and quickly access files such as movies, music, photos, documents, and more.
With solid state drive technology, you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are faster than a conventional 7200 rpm hard drive. As SSDs have no moving parts, they are also more durable than traditional hard drives and are better protected against damage from drops and bumps. Having no moving parts also means that SSDs receive less wear and tear, as there are no read or write heads for the drive media to come into contact with. This SSD is protected by a limited 3-year warranty.
PNY SSDs are faster than traditional spinning hard drives, feature no moving parts, and complete random operations rapidly
PNY SSDs undergo component and sub-system testing. High-quality NAND is utilized to help ensure solid SSDs, which are validated across applications and environments to meet quality, reliability, and durability criteria
PNY SSDs undergo over 10,000 hours of validation testing
Cool and Quiet Operation
PNY SSDs generate less heat than a hard drive, helping to increase the life of your system by reducing operating temperature and potential damage from overheating. Additionally, SSDs produce minimal noise, making your system quieter
PNY SSDs feature low-wattage and function with an advanced lower-power mode
PNY SSDs are more robust than hard drives, making them less likely to fail in extreme environments, including high and low temperatures. The non-volatile NAND in the system helps enable the SSD to retain its memory if your computer falls or is dropped
